The Maker
Made by Hand. Made with Heart.
Kate O’Keeffe started Art on Slate in 2001, turning her passion for creativity into a unique home-based business in Ballydesmond, Co. Cork.
Working from her home studio, Kate creates each piece herself from start to finish. Using reclaimed and new slate as her canvas, she creates paintings, poems, quotations, clocks, jewellery, picture frames, presentation pieces and personalised gifts.
Every creation is individual, with customers often having an input into the design.
